Scott Johnston is Assistant Vice President–Marketing & Acquisitions for Asset Acceptance Capital Corp., a leading purchaser and collector of charged-off consumer debt based in Warren, Michigan.
Johnston is responsible for the Company’s debt purchasing strategy, including the evaluation and purchase of debt portfolios from many of the largest consumer lenders in the United States.
Johnston has 10 years of experience in financial services and joined Asset Acceptance in 2008. He previously served in a variety of management roles with Capital One in Richmond, Virginia, where his responsibilities included customer relations, direct marketing, process and product management, and most recently, leading the company’s marketing efforts for credit card transactions involving charged-off and bankrupt debt.
Johnston holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
